The Falcons have not seen another player who is rated within their top 10 position since Kyle Pitts was named the NFL's highest-rated rookie by EA Sports' Madden 22 videogame.
In the past, Madden has unveiled 10 players from the rookie cl**** of this year's in addition to the top 10 players on the defensive line and wide receiver positions. Calvin Ridley, who ended the Madden 22 ratings cycle with an 88 overall, failed to crack the top 10 wideouts in this year's game.
Additionally, Madden 22 left Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jarrett off of its top 10 interior defensive linemen ratings. Jarrett was rated as a 90 overall in Madden 22. This is quite puzzling to say the most basic of things.
Jarrett's biggest issue is his relationship with the Atlanta defense which has performed poorly over the last few years. The team's problems on Jarrett and his team, but they've hurt the perception around Jarrett, who was a former Clemson lineman.
