In this early stage, we would appreciate your comments and some discussion over the appropriate ruleset for Ironman. This is a quick overview of the game's rules and mechanics that we've uncovered to date. Ironman mode starts by creating a brand new character. You cannot turn off the ironman game mode once you've entered it.
Ironman players in mode will be wearing a unique chat badge. It could be a skull, mod crown, or VIP star. We will need to create an ironman-specific way to complete Heroes Quest or Shield of Arrav alone. As a stretch goal we'd like to think about the possibility of a hiscore table filter that would just show ironman players. The final twist is Hardcore Ironman, which offers an extended mode for bravest of braves. Also, you will require a brand new character
A single life is all you've got - it's over once you're gone! Your hiscore is the only thing. The chat badge that you would use for Ironman-style Hardcore (perhaps a red skull) will have a distinct look. This is the point at which we're.
