While there are some wonderful things to be said about NBA 2K23 MyCAREER this year with exciting quests like The Cole World, some players encounter the most serious bug.We were able to experience this in our personal NBA 2K23 MyCAREER save, and it is apparent whenever you attempt to play your next NBA game that causes an all-game freeze.
After trying various methods, we've stumbled upon one that works and has removed your frozen MyCAREER save.It appears that the problem here is tied to the clothing your MyPLAYER wears and that it's happening just before the fashion walk in the pre-game triggers.Shop Now: Officially licensed NBA Apparel & Gear at the NBA Store.This glitch has occurred for players who were working on Palace Intrigue and Courting Calloway quests in The City, so it's not clear which is the cause.
There are a couple of inventory items like seen in the image below that include plus signs to indicate an additional brand reward, however they are missing the icon. Also, several of them are tied to previous quests that might have been the cause of this.Before beginning our next NBA game, we removed the following items:We can't confirm which of these items caused the issue, but it seems that the Calloway's Court items seem most likely, as they'd only lately been received.
In any case, if you're experiencing this problem playing the Courting Calloway or Palace Intrigue quests, we'd suggest getting rid of all the quests following a game restart to examine if it will fix the bug.For our experience, the removals allowed the game to be stopped from happening and allow that MyCAREER save to continue without issue.2K is expected to release an update in the near future with the ability to fix it permanently, but hopefully this workaround will help until then.
NBA 2K23's MyCAREER will not be complete without The Neighborhood and, this year for Current Gen consoles (PS4. Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch), The Neighborhood will be on The G.O.A.T. Boat. Boat is the larger brother of Cancha Del Mar, which has a totally new layout that is geared towards accessibility in addition to style and flair. There are many similarities, just like the deck system and the Promenade which will aid players get around The G.O.A.T. Boat fast, without having to spend too much time lost and confused.
