The full list of draft-eligible players on the official 2K League website and you can learn more about some of the talented players in this year's cl**** through the league's Draft Hopefuls series. Teams have had the chance to see all of the players on display through multiple offseason evaluation events.
Brendan Donohue, 2K League President, stated that the offseason evaluation process in 2020-21 was among our most comprehensive to the present. The process included 38 tournaments that were hosted by teams in the NBA 2K League Draft Prospect Series. Additionally, there were three international qualifying tournaments , as well as an updated Women in Gaming initiative. The 2K league's first-ever combine exclusive to athletes who are eligible for the draft. "We're looking forward to an exciting draft night when our teams are able to add 63 of the top 2K players in the world prior to our fourth season."
The 2021 draft is four rounds long with all 23 teams filling up the six-player roster. In total, there are 63 available spots in the 2K League for the upcoming season. Additionally, the draft order is already decided.
The 2K League will host this draft as a complete event. The event will include two-vs.-two MyPark, interviews with influential personalities like Champ2K, Dominus and Dribble2Much Special guests include 2 Chainz and Robert Horry, NBA champion, and Daryl Morey, president of basketball operations for the Philadelphia 76ers, among others, who will announce select selections.
Scott Cole is returning to host the event along with esports host and broadcaster Malik Fort, 2K League sideline reporter Autumn Johnson, and sports host Ms.Basketball.
