Jagex has announced an event for beta testing in the mad scientist costume. It's a pity for those with skill and those with low levels, as it's practically impossible to achieve the final part... For the intermediate levels, it should be easy.
It's harder than I expected I did it, and tried it (65 att, str, def) with just melee (didn't feel like having runes to use Slayer Dart or anything more powerful than melee). Ahrim was supposed to be easy, but I couldn't hit him at all. Only hits came from my deflect prayers I believe.
Just wanted to mention that this event isn't for all players. When you're able to walk through the tunnels exit, login into beta and then continue with the mission (I had success in looting the chest and obtaining the last piece of equipment without killing any of my brothers).
There will be more opportunities to buy the dress at more events. To be honest this was not a huge challenge for me, but that could have been a good idea that you have emphasized. I did it, sporting Verac, TokHaarKal, and Fury.
Died one time at Dharok, which is the moment I discovered that you can go and replenish in the middle of it. However, if you import prior to taking the chest and then you take the chest out it's not necessary to do one of the beta brothers.
