Although aPLib has not seen much development for various reasons over the last 3 years, it is still actively developed and certainly relevant at the time of this writing (December 2011).
As of Version 1.2 and MacOS 10.6 Snow Leopard (mid-2011), aPLib is no longer compatible with Apple's new ARC compiler.
In order to use aPLib with ARC, a project must be compiled with gcc's -fno-objc-arc flag 50e0806aeb jollorl
