  • Gaurikund to Jungle Chatti via Rambara bridge which is 4 km long.
  • Jungle Chatti to Bheembali which is 3 km long.
  • Bheembali to Linchauli which is 4 km long.
  • Linchauli to Kedarnath base camp which is 4 km long. 
  • Kedarnath base camp to Kedarnath temple which is 1 km long. 

 

The journey will entertain you through the whole route with beautiful sceneries and positive energy in the atmosphere. But the route is not so lavished or grandeur, and roads will be muddy and slippery and the mule’s poop makes it more dirty and slippery. The trek’s difficulty is moderate you need to achieve some level of fitness to accomplish this trek. We highly recommend you start exercising and eating healthy food prior to a month of your journey. Triyuginarayan Temple

 

Triyuginarayan temple is situated in the Uttarakhand state of India. Triyuginarayan temple got its fame from the marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. In the marriage ceremony, Lord Vishnu acted as the brother of Goddess Parvati and Lord Brahma acted as the priest of the marriage. In the front of the temple, a perpetual fire is located which has been burning since the divine marriage. Therefore the Triyuginarayan temple is also famous as the Akhand Dhuni Temple. The name of the temple is derived from three words i.e. Tri means three, Yugi means period of time and Narayan is the other name of Lord Vishnu. 

 

Bhairavnath Temple

 

Bhairavnath Temple is located just 500 meters from the Kedarnath temple. Bhairavnath temple is dedicated to Lord Bhairav which is one of the fierce incarnations of Lord Shiva. The dog is the Vahan (vehicle) of Lord Bhairav and Trishul (Trident) is his weapon. It is believed that the Lord Bhairav was created by the Lord Shiva to protect the Kedarnath temple from negative energies and spirits. It is also believed that the Kedarnath Yatra is incomplete without the darshan (worship) of Lord Bhairav. The temple gives you a bird’s eye view of the whole Kedarnath region.
