Expansion of emergency services

The latest healthcare developments in Uttar Pradesh can be seen in more than four thousand ambulances operating in the state which are working to transport patients to hospitals and their residences. Dialysis and CT scan facilities have been started at district headquarters, earlier this facility was limited to only big cities. Today the facilities of dialysis are available in 74 districts of the state and CT scan facilities in 71 districts.

TB control and other diseases

Through large-scale scanning and testing, thousands of TB patients have been identified and are being treated. This has led to a rapid decrease in the number of TB patients. Critical care units are being established in district hospitals with the objective of providing high-quality health services in the state.

Appointment and salary of doctors

To overcome the shortage of doctors, for the first time specialist category doctors are being given salaries up to Rs 5 lakh per month. The retirement age has been increased from 62 years to 65 years. Work is progressing rapidly in the direction of One District-One Medical College in the state.

Tough stand on corruption

To keep a check on Uttar Pradesh swasthya the govt is keeping a close watch on the corruption. The state under the esteemed leadership of Yogi Adityanath Ji the corruption in the medical field has shown a drastic dip. The government is leaving no stone unturned to catch the criminals red-handed sending the corrupt to jail and providing high-quality health services.

Ayushman Health Center

22,455 functional Ayushman Arogya Kendras have been established in the state, where 58 types of medicines and 13 types of tests are being provided free of cost. ANMs are deployed at these centers to check on women.

Yogi Adityanath health initiatives have greatly helped in improving the health department of the state ie UP has ranked first in making Ayushman cards and is also providing patients immediate treatment in case of an emergency.
