Julian Edelman slapped Tom Brady and a former Patriots teammate on Thursday when it was a reaction to his "Madden 22” cover.
"You have a lot of teammates that admired your work ethic and desire to win, and I am at the most prominent spot because when I was feeling down and down sometimes you were there to pick me up. You were as strong as can be and I am thankful for all that you did to help make our teams as strong as they could be," he said.
Like former Patriot Rob Gronkowski, who was a part of Brady in Tampa Bay, Edelman made his position clear last month the team will not be wearing Buccaneers clothes in the near future.
