This is the same for Diablo 4 Gold Immortal, and it's evident prior to when you reach the final game due to the fact that it is a fundamental part of the game design. Loot drops are less impactful, while character progression is artificially limited and scattered across too many different platforms, which are gritty and granular. It's been more cleverly concealed than it was at the beginning of Diablo 3, but it's similar to a boring and boring game. Purchase a battle pass and spending a large sum on legendary crests barely helps in the sense that paying for an amazing item drop isn't as exciting as just getting one.

I'm unsure if there is a way to isolate the essence of what makes Diablo enjoyable from the mechanics of free to play commercialization. If there is, Blizzard and NetEase have not yet found the answer. They've created a mobile-friendly Diablo that's smooth, enjoyable, and even very generous initially. However, if you're willing to spend enough time playing it, there's no doubt that the heart of the game was cut out, chopped up, and then sold to you piecemeal.

Diablo Immortal isn't much worse than a free-to play Diablo could have been. The game is a constant assault on your turn with thousands of microtransactions that come in all kinds of inscrutable currencies. You'll have to grind to achieve victory in particular if you choose not to spend money on the game. And your reward for all it is a weaker and re-cooked version of Diablo II's story.

However, for all its flaws, I loved Diablo Immortal more than I disliked it. It's still got all the aspects that make the series enjoyable with its thrilling gameplay, its endless character customization and its strong sense of place, to its ever-growing collection of exciting loot. Indeed, Diablo Immortal even has several clever gameplay twists which I hope Blizzard keeps in place to be used in Diablo IV.

If you feared that F2P mechanics would be able to beat cheap Diablo IV Gold Immortal If so, then your concerns were legitimate.
