Clean Dust Off
You may call it one of the easiest ways to clean your fake plants. You just have to dust them regularly as dust builds up over time and can lead to grime which gets very difficult to remove. So, it's better that you don't let the dust settle.
You can either use a light feather dusting brush to clean the entire surface of plants and a small bristle paint brush to clean small nooks and crannies. For sturdy greenery and plants, you can use a can of spray air. Just make sure you hold it back 7 to 8 inches to avoid damaging any flower petals.
Detergent method
Laundry detergent can help you clean plants very easily, but make sure you only use this method with vinyl flowers and plants and not with your silk flowers because these are too sensitive to handle detergents and soaps.
Start by mixing a spoonful of detergent into the water and mix it well.
Immerse the potless plants in water directly if you have any, let them be in there for a minute, and then swirl.
Cover the potted plants with trash bags so that nothing falls out. Tie them tightly around the base and then dunk the plants upside down into the water. Try swirling gently to avoid damage, the dirt and grime will all vanish at once.
You can use the washcloth to wipe any remaining dirt off.
Let potted plants dry with the trash bag in the end, so the water doesn't drip out.
Try Salt For Silk Flowers/Plants
Since silk flowers are delicate, they can't be cleaned with detergents and soap.
Use ½ cupboard salt and put it in a trash bag
Place your silk flowers in the trash bag and close it. Shake the flowers and salt together for almost 5 to 7 minutes and remove the flowers
Rubbing Alcohol is an Option
This is a quick and easy method to clean your artificial plants, especially the plants with wide or large leaves and vinery. So, try rubbing alcohol on a smaller area first to make sure that the color doesn't fade.
