For a bit of casual gameplay though, and to get a grip with what the hell is going on with Dark And Darker Gold the flying bats and hidden treasure rooms, I ran the majority of my games on my own as a mischievous little Rogue.
I stick to the shadows, dim the torches, and stab people in the back. I am not afraid of third partying a team as they try to take on a treasure room full of skeletons. Loot is deposited around the map in secret rooms, chests, barrels, and on the bodies of your dead foes.
Much like in Tarkov, there are a number of merchants that you can sell your loot to, and a variety of rare and epic loot to return to your stash for future runs into the ldquoredrdquo, which are the deeper, darker levels of Dark And Darker with better loot and harder enemies.
Each class has a different playstyle. The Rogue is sneaky, with a smoke bomb, poison daggers, and traps. The Ranger utilizes a bow (easily the most annoying class in the game right now because headshots send you to the nether realm).
Each of these classes has corresponding gear that you can loot, a selection of perks, and a choice of two abilities. This lends itself more to party composition and tactics for endgame runs, but also means you get to experiment a bit for cheap Dark And Darker Gold yourself on solo runs.
