My girst time running a campaign about 3 years ago I wanted old school runescape gold to attempt to incorporate the sense of RuneScape to our dnd game (I had never played this point) so I wrote up around 10 skills players can level up on their char's spare time and it would give them advantages when interacting with similar skill sets, nevertheless it was to much, after approximately 3 sessions we all forgot about the additional list of skills and let it die off. Im happy to say that we conducted that effort for over a year akd then a second campign I dm'd to get amother year amd now I am a player in a numenera group with the very same guys.
It could do the job. Open the string on them living out their lives and do some world-building. They assist with the Saradomin effort to conquer Southern Forinthry, then are sent to Morytania. I'd probably change the deadline a bit so that Zamorak annihilating Forinthry lines up with the Brother's deaths. Finish things off with Guthix kicking out all the gods and there you go.
RuneScape legit could make an wonderful television series. It's such a world that is mysterious, and such lore. It would be amazing, When it had a game of budget, my god, with Witcher quality production. Story episodes could follow Quests and boss/raids. Filler episodes might only be the series adventurer"skilling" or other shenanigans. Imagine an entire episode devoted to Castle Wars. Through some fuckery, individuals come back to life unharmed. Only an absolute gore fest for a very simple game of capture the flag to get some bloody tickets, with the gruesome special effects, of an event.
Envision an incident about a bald man in brown khakis standing before a tree for long periods of time and creating a very long lineup of campfires, and going to the bank. Man, now that is content that is persuasive. So a lot of the lighthearted quests will match that tone, and also the ones have some of that early 2000s internet humor that is amazing. I would very much prefer to see a real-life variant of One Favor. A nonstop barrage of the main character becoming more and more pissed off since he can dumb tasks that require more mindless tasks to complete.
I recently started playing OSRS. I originally started playing like 2007 to buy runescape 3 gold when I was around 12 and had been obsessed with RuneScape. Super nostalgic for me. Saw the mobile app in my phone one day 1-2 months ago downloaded it and fell in love again started taking it super serious! Really gonna be doing fighter madness lol. Really a game that is great.
