Diablo 4 players have been discussing online how the game's character customization seems to still lack a couple of features, with many wanting to be able to change hairstyles later on. Though Diablo 4's character customization already offers much more personalization than the previous titles in the series, it is not surprising for fans to have expected that there would be more options once the game launched.

There is much excitement going around the action RPG's player base, especially since the official start date of Diablo 4's Season 4 has already been announced. Blizzard seems to  Diablo 4 Items have pulled out all the stops, adding so much new content that fans have to prepare for. What's more, the first season requires players to create a new character. One Redditor opened the discussion about a specific feature that seems to be lacking in Diablo 4's character customization, and this is the ability to change their character's hairstyle after choosing their initial look. User 3mb3r89 pointed out in their posted topic that players could switch between different tattoos for their character, but cannot pick an alternative hairdo if they get sick of the current one they have. This means that whatever hairstyle the player chooses when they first design their character will be the final one they have throughout their playthrough.

Many fellow Diablo 4 players seemed to agree with the original poster's sentiment, with some quick to share their opinions as to why Blizzard chose to hold back on hairstyle options for the game. One Redditor pointed out that this is likely due to the company hoping to include it in Diablo 4's Platinum shop, which means that players may have to pay real-life money to personalize their character's hairdos. Others also said that this is quite inconvenient for the Diablo 4 Druid class, especially since the fur color of the class's animal forms follows the human form's hair color as well.

Unfortunately, players will have to wait until Blizzard finally makes the option to switch hairstyles available in Diablo 4, if it ever makes them free to customize at all. In case they do get tired of what their character's hair looks like, there are a lot of cool-looking Diablo 4 transmog pieces that they can use to Diablo 4 materials cover up their character's hair instead. Hopefully, this will be enough until the company does something about players being unable to switch between hairstyles in the game.
