You can disable it entirely if you trust your own capabilities on the sticks, however we'd recommend leaving it off for a moment, so you have a little amount of magnetism that can assist you in keeping ahead of your rivals. It's a good idea to spend time with 2KU to discover what works for you, but personally we believe around 25 is the optimal number.
There's nothing worse in NBA 2K23 than seeing a open teammate who is unable to stop and then accidentally kicking it to the incorrect person. However, with Controller Settings, you can modify to alter the Pass Target Profile. This is determined by three different information points: Pass Target Direction, Pass Target Distance, and Pass Openness of Target.
There is a profile which is more lenient in weighing passing a tick towards openness as opposed to the default setting and we believe this is the best choice, though you are free to tweak further until you find a solution that is the best for you.
