"We have done everything we could try to create this presentation discussion as professional as it could be This evidently was a nice surprise surprise for the whole Blizzard team, with CEO Mike Morhaime, too."

The meeting was scheduled for under two hours however, it ended up lasting longer than five hours. Viper affirms she was Blizzard was "very engaged, interested, [and] engaged." Those in attendance included Morhaime, director of production J. Allen Brack, and director of games Tom Chilton. Viper states that the Nostalrius team was "very amazed by the profound reverence and admiration they felt for" the work on their legacy servers they'd done.

The debates included the history of the pirate server and how it was created and other technical information like the anti-cheat software the team created for Nostalrius. However, nothing in regards to the idea of bringing official servers to life was ever confirmed.

"First foremost, don't think about the fact that, when you work in a large organization it is impossible to make a decision in a single meeting, and they are free to announce any official "yes or no" them-self," Viper wrote. They added that Blizzard has an open source for "Vanilla WoW," and it would take "tremendous work" to get it up and running.

"In addition to the technical requirements of releasing a legacy server, Blizzard will also need to offer a very polished game that is accessible to its millions of players. This is something that existing unofficial old servers can't offer," Viper wrote. The technical work will need to be completed over on the Nostalrius forums.

Viper ended his blog post in a positive manner in his post, stating his post was positive, saying that Blizzard is buy WOTLK Gold "now fully aware" of the players who wish to participate in World of Warcraft on legacy servers, thanks in big part to a petition that has more than 250.000 people signing it. Viper also said that Brack is keen to stay in touch via the Nostalrius team.
