Runescape is your toughest habit to Kick. I quit cold turkey 3 months ago today. I told myself I'm not renewing membership and life's been better ever since. I found myself quite tired for a little while but keep strong, It is the best thing that you can ever do! Edit: my Reddit picture is the RuneScape gold gnome child but he ai not moving anywhere. How can you deal with urges what's keeps you busy days? I luckily enjoy skateboarding so I have been getting into that (in my driveway when it's dry haha) and recently started analyzing so they keep me occupied. Practising Photoshop and premiere/after consequences for some thing to do.
I am also a runescape nerd hahah:D Played fram age 7 or 6 til age well. I'm 25 today and it seems as though I stopped. The urges come with this feeling like I want to accomplish something"grand" and making millions of GP or murdering players/bosses supplies that sense. RuneScape taught me a lot. It made me a different sort of person. Like you I discovered youtube videos that were powerful. Namely jordan Peterson, a philosopher that puts videos on philosophy and psychology.
I am two years clean today and that I deal with all the urges by reminding myself that real life is a far better grind. I've taken my studies more seriously and'm starting my next semester of technology studies soon. Good job taking charge of your time.
This would be good to help folks learn to pk. Similar to LMS even with the along side, people wait patiently for that one and will still favor one. Need more choices. Designs could be changed each season.
