Tell You Some Methods About Making Curtain Light Background

Curtain lights - also known as fairy lights - add an ethereal, dreamlike quality to any space

Curtain lights - also known as fairy lights - add an ethereal, dreamlike quality to any space. Whether you use them as everyday decor or for special occasions, hanging your string lights over sheer or sheer curtains will create an unforgettable impression.

How to make a DIY curtain light backdrop? Here's what you need to create your curtain light backdrop: Roll of white tulle fabric or sheer curtains, string lights, curtain rod, curtain rod holder, clear shipping tape

NOTE: The length of the string lights you need depends on the length and width of your curtains and your desired lighting effect.

Step 1: Choose your space

Before you start, you need to find the perfect spot for your curtain light backdrop.

If you want to use curtains as a backdrop for your photos, consider hanging them in a neat place. Too much decoration or clutter can distract from a photo.

If your light requires one, choose a space that has access to a wall plug. Add curtain lights to windows, doors, or bed frames for the easiest installation.

Step 2: Install Curtain Rod Bracket and Curtain Rod

The best way to hang a curtain light backdrop is from a curtain rod. So you'll also need to install curtain rod brackets - but don't panic! It's really easy.

This step may seem daunting, but it doesn't have to be. Hang your drapes in seconds with Kwik Hang's non-destructive, easy-to-install curtain rod brackets! Simply place the bracket on a door, window, or other wooden frame and tap it in with a hammer.

After installing the brackets, you'll need a curtain rod to support the lights and shades. Place the curtain rod of your choice into the bracket and you're ready to hang your lights!

Step 3: Hang the Lights

String the lights to the curtain rod and use small pieces of clear shipping tape to hold the lights in place. Place the ends of the string lights on the floor, making sure you have access to a wall plug if needed.

Hang the lights from the poles, then place them back on the floor, repeating the process until you reach the end of the string. Space the lights evenly along the pole.

Remember, you can always vary the height and drape of the lights depending on the look you want.

Pro tip: If the wall plug isn't nearby and you have to use an extension cord, make sure the cord doesn't pose a tripping hazard.

Step 4: Hang Sheer or Curtains

Now is the time to hang your tulle. Cut the tulle to your desired length and drape it over the curtain rod. Repeat this process until you get the desired look. The more tulle you use, the more blurred the light will be. We recommend using at least four layers of tulle.

If you're concerned that the tulle won't hold securely, zip ties around the sheer and curtain rod, or apply clear packing tape to the end of the sheer against the curtain rod.

Or, if privacy is an issue, you can use ready-made sheer or white drapes in place of sheer.
